Principle Magnetic flow transmitter
Based on Faraday’s Law, which states that a voltage is produced when a conductor travels through a magnetic field, the magnetic flow transmitter functions. Regarding a magmeter: Electromagnetic Field: The coils in the transmitter produce a magnetic field. Conductive Fluid: The conductive fluid functions as a conductor when it passes through the magnetic field. Induced Voltage: The voltage produced by the flowing conductive fluid is measured by electrodes positioned in the flow path. Flow Rate Calculation: The volumetric flow rate is calculated by processing the induced voltage, which is proportional to the flow velocity.
