Principle of Turbine flowmeter flange connection
The flow meter sensor’s internal impeller rotates as the measured liquid passes through it, assisted by the liquid’s kinetic energy. Currently, the detecting device’s magnetic resistance fluctuates on a regular basis due to the impeller blade. Consequently, at both ends of the detecting coil, an electric pulse signal proportionate to the flow rate is generated. This signal is then amplified by the preamplifier and supplied to the display unit. The display unit’s single chip microcomputer system computes based on the number of pulses recorded and the flowmeter’s meter coefficient K. It then shows the instantaneous flow rate as well as the total quantity accumulated.
