Principle of Intelligent anti-vibration vortex flowmeter

Vortex flow meters, which are specifically designed to measure lower viscosity gases, liquids, and steam, operate on the basis of the created vortex and the relationship between flow and vortex as explained by the theories of Karman and Strouhal. The image below illustrates how the medium flows through the bluff body and creates a vortex. The frequency of the vortices is exactly proportional to the medium velocity, and they alternately develop on both sides with opposing orientations of spin. The medium velocity is computed using the vortex count that the sensor head measures, along with the flowmeter and diameter, to determine the final volume flow.
